Register as a user of CHC products such as LandStar7 will ask for a CHC Account firstly. When you sign up the account, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, country, email address, telephone number to store with your account. By providing the information to CHC you consent to our transfer of this information to our company databases and other repositories, wherever located.

Specific device information (for example, the hardware model, the operating system version number, unique device identifier and other mobile network information) will be sent to CHC when you install our software and use our service.

When you use CHC services, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

How we use those collected information

We will log your hardware model, operating system version and unique device identifier into the log file so that problems can be found when the application has some problems. In addition, we may need other hardware device identifiers such as the device IMEI for your authentication.

Log information is used to identify and look for problems if necessary.

The main function of our service is to collect and record your actual location, and we may use your location information for data acquisition or server location reporting, such as reporting location to Ntrip server .

When you cannot obtain the unique identification code of your device, we may use the unique application number for your authentication.

We will access to local storage of your device for data persistence, reading and writing of the application related data.

Certain services of CHC may need access to network information, for example, obtaining Ntrip differential data using PDA network so that our positioning services are more accurate.

Certain services of CHC may need use the device's Wi-Fi permission so as access to other hardware devices for communication. For example, the position information is acquired from GNSS receivers via Wi-Fi.

Certain services of CHC may need use the device's Bluetooth permission so as access to other hardware devices for communication. For example, the position information is acquired from GNSS receivers via Bluetooth.


Information that we share


In the ordinary course of business CHC will not sell, trade or rent your individual identifying information to others absent your consent to do so. We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of CHC, we may share the personal data you provide online with CHC Companies. We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners, for example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
