The information you provide us
Register as a user of CHC products such as LandStar7 will ask for a CHC Account firstly. When you sign up the account, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, country, email address, phone number to store with your account. By providing the information to us you consent to our transfer of this information to our customer databases and other repositories, wherever located.
Send us an inquiry on our online platforms. We will ask for your contact details such as your email address, your phone numbers, your location and/or any other relevant information that you provided to finish your inquiry on our website or third-party advertising websites. By providing the information to us you consent to our transfer of this information to our customer/partner databases and other repositories, wherever located.
Send an email to our email addresses. We will collect your data such as your email address, phone numbers, your location and/or any other relevant information you provided if your email is with the purpose of inquiry, purchase, after-sales or cooperation. Information we get from your use of our services
Specific device information (for example, the hardware model, the operating system version number, unique device identifier and other mobile network information) will be sent to CHC when you install our software and use our service.
When you use CHC services, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

When you use CHC services and software, we may collect and process information about your actual location. It includes location information provided by internal GPS of mobile phones and location information provided by devices which are accessed in other ways.
Unique application numbers
Certain services include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation may be sent to CHC when you install that service for Device adaptation judgment and your authentication.
Our services will collect and use the access permission to your local storage.
Our services will use the network permission of your device to access the internet.
Wifi device permission
Our services will use Wi-Fi permission(for example, open WiFi and change Wi-Fi status) of your devices.
Our services will use access to the Bluetooth permission of your devices to open the Bluetooth and obtain the Bluetooth device information that your device is bound to.
How we use the collected information
We will log your hardware model, operating system version and unique device identifier into the log file so that problems can be found when the application has some problems. In addition, we may need other hardware device identifiers such as the device IMEI for your authentication.
Log information is used to identify and look for problems if necessary.
The main function of our service is to collect and record your actual location, and we may use your location information for data acquisition or server location reporting, such as reporting the location to Ntrip server.
Unique application number
When you cannot obtain the unique identification code of your device, we may use the unique application number for your authentication.
We will access to local storage of your device for data persistence, reading and writing of the application related data.
Certain services of CHC may need access to network information, for example, obtaining Ntrip differential data using PDA network so that our positioning services are more accurate.
Wifi device permission
Certain services of CHC may need to use the device's Wi-Fi permission so as access to other hardware devices for communication. For example, the position information is acquired from GNSS receivers via Wi-Fi.

Information that we share
In the ordinary course of business CHC will not sell, trade or rent your individual identifying information to others absent your consent to do so. We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside CHC. We may share the personal data you provide online with CHC Companies. We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners, for example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
About the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
However, from time to time, we would like to add you to our e-newsletter list and send you details of other products/promotions/services that we provide, as well as questionnaires for better customer services, and of course, you have the right to choose whether to subscribe our e-newsletter or not. Once you agree to subscribe to our newsletter, that means you agree on us to share your data with our third party marketing automation platforms, such as ZOHO CRM and MailChimp, etc. We may also pass your details onto our authorized 3rd party organizations, such as dealers, forwarders, suppliers and express companies, and we have renewed our data protection agreements with them to ensure our commitment to the GDPR while providing you with appropriate products and services in your region(s).
Erase your data from our database
According to the GDPR, you have your rights to have your data removed from our database, and we have already appointed a Data Protection Officer to supervise the processes and procedures. If you want us to stop using your data for any reason, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your basic details for us to identify you. We will send you a reply email once it has been done.
