CHCNAV undertakes to monitor the world’s second-highest bridge
Shanghai, China - ( 31th, December, 2015) CHC Navigation has successfully stood out to be the general contractor of an online automatic monitoring project for the world's second-highest bridge - Qingshui River Bridge.
Crossing two high mountains and with the supported span of 1,130 meters, the 2,171.4-meter-long Qingshui River Bridge is an important passage connecting north, east and central of Guizhou province, bringing great superiority and society wealth.
The bridge crosses Qingshui River Grand Canyon. Different climates and complicated geologic structures lead to extremely great construction difficulties. The adoption of Plate Truss Separation Technology has cut one year construction time and saved 10% construction materials. What’s more, bridge expansion joints have been greatly reduced, which is beneficial to the bridge deformation monitoring.
GNSS technology plays more and more important role which traditional measurement cannot match with in the deformation monitoring requesting continuity, real-time and high automation.
